They Grow On Trees

Journey

SpiritualJenica HalulaComment

We refer to, "this journey we are on," but we do not go anywhere.

We might consider then, doing the things you do on an actual journey.

Hope (but not know for sure that) there will be another supply of food and good water up ahead, when we set out to leave this one.

Be hungry, tired, thirsty.

Keep walking.

Grow muscles.

Get tired of each other.

Keep walking.

Loose muscles.

Don't draw too much attention to yourself on an open road for no good reason.

Ration your resources based on where you're trying to go, not how hungry you feel right now.

Stop and rest.

Keep walking.

Sing together when you’re tired.

Huddle by the fire.

Sing together when you’re happy.

Sing alone if there is not one else to sing with you.

Go back and forth between looking a long way off into the distance, and looking at the path in front of you.

Where am I going? Where do I need to step next?
